Hi everyone. Today was a day with photo shoots, but in Toronto, so there were some familiar faces. I got to do one shoot at Capsule music, owned by my friends Pete and Mark. We're standing with their beloved "exclaim cup" to which they have winners rights to for an entire year. This photo is almost the kind of attachment to " Dear Penthouse, I recently went to a vintage guitar shop and found myself some twins.... etc.. etc.."
Ha ha... thank you boys.

Last night away:
Hey all, this is Jim reporting for the camp of edwards.com. I can only promise you poor spelling and lazy grammar in my occasional post here.
We have had a great time in California. Everything has been so fun. For those looking to see the KCRW set we played this morning, check it out HERE
Anyway, away from the sun and back to the snow....

here, Kathleen talks with folks waiting inline for the Price is Right at CBS Television Studios prior to The Late Late Show.

There's nothing wrong with the Austin sun. There's nothing wrong about having some marguritas on ice. There's nothing wrong about barbeque. There's nothing wrong about playing music for the love of it. There's nothing wrong in thinking that Jim Bryson killed at his show last night. There's nothing wrong at all.

The only thing that is wrong is that this is the last day here. There are suburbans everywhere. oh my.

We're off to Nashville and Austin for the week. Can't wait for the BBQ. It's going to be a crazy week, so i thought i would post a note now. We were in London, Dublin and Amsterdam over the past week. They're all fantastic cities with a kind of history that is awe-inspiring. After a lengthy battle with jet lag, there were many nights i lay awake late and contemplated writing short stories based on touring in specific cities around the world. Dylan's Chronicles has inspired me in a way i once associated with my teenage years, reading books that blew my mind. It has made me think that some well thought out stories might be a good way to take care of lengthy bus rides, not that they'd be anywhere as relevant as Dylan.

Tonight is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and i am thinking of U2, a great band that has made great records. If to only be a fly on the wall.... the Edge is certainly worthy of such an honor.

Goodnight, jet lag.

Good day everyone,
Writing from London, England where I have been for a few days running around town.... flew to Dublin yesterday and I may have to move there, it's so gorgeous.
Just wanted to say that we just found out our first week went very very well, i am so grateful to all the people who went out and actually bought my album this week. i was shocked.
The band and i are so excited for SXSW and i am finally going to see Ray Lamontagne play. A good reason to come home, for sure.
We had a blast on Letterman, at the canal room in NYC and the 13 hour greyhound bus ride i had to take in stormy weather was well worth it.
Good bye for now.

Hi everyone!! Thank you for coming and visiting the new site. This is the week my new record comes out, so things are crazy. I am currently in Ottawa playing a 3-night stint at the Black Sheep Inn in my old stomping grounds getting the band warmed up. We'll be on Letterman on Tuesday night, playing a show in NYC, then hauling over to Toronto for Canada AM on Friday morning.

I love my new site, thank you to Leila Younis for her great artistic contribution. Check out the cool "change the background" feature and remember that new fun multimedia features are going to be coming once we get out on the road. We're going to be doing weekly blogs from the road, featuring different band members, new pictures and fun video clips. In the meantime, you can listen to the title track of the album, "Back to Me". I hope that this site will become more and more fun and interactive, and a great spot for those of you who have been looking for a little more than just an ordinary website.

I am so appreciative to all of you who have been patient and supportive fans, i feel very, very lucky to know you're out there somewhere. Take care, we'll see you soon.

Kathleen
